The day trip cabin, Fisterbu, in Hjelmeland offers magnificent views across most of the islands in Ryfylke.
Turn off towards Fister school beside the grocery shop ‘Joker’ in Fister. Drive up Solbjørvegen road to the car park at the top. The road to Fisterbu is waymarked. There are fantastic views, fire pan and possibilities for barbecues at Fisterbu. The walk is suitable for families, but not for prams etc.
