Are you ready for a cruise in the amazing winter fjords of Northern Norway? Wildlife, fishing, aquaculture, local villages, the weather and the elements in the Arctic as well as the Arctic landscape and beautiful fjords, it is all there waiting for you.
Our knowledgeable English-speaking guide and host will give you an introduction to local history and culture, show you short documentaries and presentations about the area, history, wildlife and the eco-system in the Arctic.
We have three boats we can use, to make sure there is room enough for everyone to join (Leone, Strønstad and Aurora Explorer). We will sail where the weather is on its best to make sure you will have the very best experience.
We sail from Tromsø at 9 in the morning daily from 1th of December. See you onboard!
The tour also include a great ending with an experience with storytelling from the Viking age to the mid-1900 regarding the codfish history and culture, in the fisherman’s restaurant Full Steam - from boat to export, stockfish and the important role of the cod liver oil, you are also invited to have a taste.
