You can now join the electric catamaran MS ‘Ole Bull’ on a day cruise on the Lysefjord. The fjord cruise departs from the Lysefjord Centre in Oanes, an hour’s drive from Stavanger.
The trip on the ‘Ole Bull’ combines comfort and tranquillity with magnificent scenery as it glides slowly and almost silently between the steep mountain sides. The knowledgeable guides bring the area’s history and geology to life. For many, the highlight is the view of the iconic Preikestolen, which towers 604 metres above the boat.
The saloon features large panoramic windows offering unobstructed views of the beautiful landscape, and out on deck you can enjoy the fresh fjord air. If you’re lucky, you might spot seals or sea eagles up close.
