We invite you to explore a unique part of Fjord Norway and a day filled with deep fjords, tall mountains and cultural heritage.

A relaxing fjord cruise, a rural village and a historical stave church. This full day trip combines some of the best Fjord Norway has to offer - all in a single day!

The trip starts by fjord cruise from Bergen. While traveling along the Sognefjord you can rest your eyes on white capped mountains, blue water, green farms and local wildlife. There is a reason why this beautiful fjord, which is Norway’s longest and deepest fjord has been described by National Geographic as ‘the world’s most iconic destination’

Vik is located on the southern shore of the Sognefjord. The village steeped in culture and history, has roots back to the Viking Age. Today it is home to 2,400 people.

Join us on a guided walk in historical surroundings. We walk between small picturesque houses and boathouses on Vikøyri. We visit one of the small houses that still stands exactly as it was abandoned in the old days. The walk also includes a taste of  Gamalost (old cheese). Gamalosten has its roots in the Viking Age, and the local dairy is today the only dairy in Norway that produces this unique, traditional cheese. Along with the cheese, you will be served raspberry juice from Vik. In Vik municipality, approx. 25% of all raspberries consumed in Norway are produced.

08:00 - 11:30 Boat Bergen → Vik
11:30 - 13:00 Lunch at Blix Hotel (children can get pizza instead)
