On this 3-day kayaking tour, you'll get the best of what the fjords of Norway have to offer. Incredible views of Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord, uniting with nature while paddling and wild camping in idyllic spots
This trip starts in Flåm and goes all the way to Gudvangen. All of our guides are experienced and will underway fill you in on the rich history of the area. This experience leaves you with the feeling of being out in the wild as you sit there on the edge of the fjord watching the sun disappear behind the mighty mountains in the evening.
The trip starts from the beach in Flåm at 9 am. Before departing on this adventure your guide will give you a thorough briefing of what will happen the next days, the gear you will be using, the food, and kayaking techniques. Everything you need to make the trip as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Just before you venture off we make lunch for you on land.
On the first day, we paddle towards Undredal. This village is a popular tourist destination, famous for its goat cheese and the smallest stave church in Scandinavia. While paddling through the fjord landscape carved out by the glaciers thousands of years ago you’ll pass waterfalls and steep mountains. If you are lucky you might get to see eagles, otters, or some other wildlife that enjoys a peaceful life in the sheltered surroundings of the fjord. Just outside Undredal, you’ll see your first campsite – Stokko. This camping spot is safe and has an outdoor lavatory. After the tents are put up your guide will prepare a dinner for the group.
On day two you wake up surrounded by breathtaking nature, inhaling fresh air, and enjoying the tranquillity of the moment. Then it's breakfast time. If the weather plays along, we go on a hike to see the fjord from above. After lunch, we're full of energy and ready to get back into kayaks and enter the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord. We paddle towards Odnes, our next idyllic camping spot, which sits just under a waterfall and gives you a nice feeling of peace and serenity. Dinner time!
On day three we have breakfast, pack, and paddle to Gudvangen – our final destination. From here we drive you back to Flåm. By 4:30 pm we are back at our base and say: “Thank you for joining us and enjoy the rest of your Norwegian adventure!”
