Along the way keep your eyes sharp and you may be rewarded with some encounters with our local wildlife – the fjord is home to sea eagles, seals, porpoise, otters and many varied sea birds.

SEASON AND SAFETY
Season: Spring, summer and early autumn (May - September). SUBJECT TO TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS

A general moderate physical fitness is necessary to take this boat trip. We take your safety and comfort very seriously. We consider these to be the foundations of a great experience. All our activities are therefore planned in detail and equipped to allow our guests the freedom to enjoy what they do and see. This includes the necessary safety equipment for boat trips, including appropriate life vests and suits, and rubber boots. The boat itself is operated by a certified captain.

Only a pair of good walking boots will be required, the rest will be taken care of by us. Guests are not required to bring anything extra for the trip, we will provide you with everything you need for the various activities.

The weather on the coast is unpredictable, warm clothes like wool/fleece and a hat should be seen as essential, but rain gear and extra protective clothes will be provided.

CONTINGENCIES

As this is an outdoor activity, we also plan for variations in the weather. Stormy and unsuitable weather can occur at any time. While we are equipped for most weather situations, there may be occasions when the weather interrupts our planning. If an activity is made difficult, we will consult with you at the earliest warning of bad weather on options for re-arranging or cancellation.

At all times the safety of our guests is our main consideration. The comfort and enjoyment of our guests are the key priorities to providing a genuinely great experience, so any decisions on changes to our planned activities will be thoroughly explained and in a timely fashion.
