Fjord cruise by car and boat to Sommarøy in a small exclusive group. We start the trip by car from Tromsø and drive along Kvaløya's coast to beautiful Sommarøy. The island is a living fishing village and offers beaches and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Sommarøy is worth a visit! We will stop along the way to take pictures and enjoy the beautiful scenery. At Sommarøy we have lunch at Arctic Hotel, creamed fish soup with homemade bread, coffee and tea. Then one of the highlights of this trip starts with a boat trip around the islands on the outside of Kvaløya. The nature here is amacing and the wildlife is rich; otter, eagle and other seabirds can be experienced closely from the boat all year long and from November to February there may be opportunities to see killer whales and humpback whales. This is a perfect family-friendly day trip for those who want to photograph and experience the Arctic light and wildlife from the country side and from the sea side. If weather permits, we can take a longer boat trip to the island in the sea - Hekkingen, located on the outside of Senja where North Norway's oldest lighthouse is located. Here is a great opportunity to get close contact with the sea eagle. Be well prepared to bring a spectacular photo of the giant bird. On the way home, we take another route so you get to see most out of Kvaløya. We stop at Tove's Glasskunst, where we serve fresh waffles and hot drinks.
