And, as you sit down in the dining hall, just as Emperor Wilhelm II of Germany did, just as Edvard Grieg did, and even as the Prince of Siam did.

Located in the center of Voss, nestled between the majestic mountains, lies Fleischer's Hotel, beautifully situated between Lake Vangsvatnet and the transportation hub Voss Station. Its central location makes it easily accessible.

Fleischer's is a hotel rich in traditions. The hotel was completed in 1889, constructed in the popular Swiss style of the time. It quickly became sought after by affluent tourists, largely due to its architectural style. It is a unique hotel renowned for its historic atmosphere, magnificent dining hall, and welcoming hosts.

About the hotel:
Today, Fleischer's Hotel offers 110 rooms with a total of 210 beds, 30 motel units, and conference facilities with a capacity of 240 guests. We have a wellness area with a swimming pool, children's pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness room. We offer dinner and buffet at Restaurant Magdalene, à la carte dining at Seckman, refreshments at Fredrik's Piano Bar, and a delightful view from our open-air Terrace during the summer.

If you prefer a bit more freedom and the ability to prepare your own meals, you'll find Fleischer's Motel just 100 meters from the hotel, offering 30 apartments with 80 beds. This is a very family-friendly and cost-effective alternative.

In our restaurants, you will experience some of the best that Norway has to offer in terms of food and drink. We emphasize local, seasonal ingredients, regional specialties, and continental influences. Combined with flavorful and artistic presentations, we offer both local and international beverages to enhance your dining experience. Our hospitable hosts are always ready to share the history of the hotel, the cuisine, and the menu.

Seckman:
Our fine dining restaurant, Seckman, is named after Johan Seckman Fleischer, who arrived in Voss in 1750.

Magdalene:
Restaurant Magdalene is named after Fleischer's Hotel's first hostess and head chef.
