Floating Villa Bergen - events

Located just 18 minutes from Bergen city center, it offers 200 square meters of indoor space, a large living room and kitchen, 100 square meters of terrace, 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a jacuzzi, and a private boat. Suitable for companies, couples, families, groups of friends, and other gatherings.

Floating Villa is one of a kind in the world and one of the few floating houses in Norway. You have access to the entire house and your own boat during your stay. The interior is modern, providing a blend of everyday luxury and beautiful nature. You have direct access to the Norwegian archipelago. In addition to indoor events, you can fish from the terrace or boat, paddle a kayak or SUP, take a swim, enjoy a meal on the terrace, and experience the closeness to the sea.

Upon arrival, we can meet you if desired and explain how the boat and house function. If you have any special requests, we will do our best to accommodate them. Don’t hesitate to ask questions.

Location

Floating Villa is moored next to Holmen, a small island outside Bergen. On the opposite side of the island is the famous seafood restaurant Cornelius. On Holmen, you will be the only residents. It’s the perfect base for exploring Bergen, being just 18 minutes from the city center and 25 minutes from the airport.

Rooms, Beds, and Layout

Floating Villa offers 200 square meters of indoor space. The large living room and kitchen are ideal for hosting events. There are 6 bedrooms with a total of 14 regular beds. Additionally, there are two sofa beds. Four of the bedrooms are spacious, while two are smaller, featuring bunk beds and a family bed, respectively.

1st floor:
5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Access to the jacuzzi from a bedroom with a private terrace.  

2nd floor:
Exceptionally spacious living room with high ceilings and an open plan leading to a fully equipped kitchen. A total of 70 square meters with access to the terrace. A bedroom with an adjoining bathroom and a washing machine. A utility room with a dryer.

Pricing for Stay

The price for hosting an event ranges from 7,450 NOK to 13,400 NOK. This includes cleaning and free use of the boat, kayak, SUP, and fishing rods. An additional charge of 600 NOK applies for the jacuzzi.

How to Get to Floating Villa

By car: about 18 minutes from Bergen city center.  
By taxi: about 18 minutes from Bergen city center (we recommend Bergen Taxi).  
By boat: about 30 minutes from Bergen city center (15 minutes from the airport).  
Private driver: Price on request.

Note: Floating Villa is located 400 meters by boat from the parking area. You will have access to a Pioner Multi boat that holds up to 10 people, equipped with an electric motor.
