Lesjaskogsvatnet is a watershed and marks the start of the rivers Gudbrandsdalslågen and Rauma. With clear water and good fishing conditions, Gudbrandsdalslågen in Lesja (Lesjaleira) is considered by many as one of Norways best trout-fishing rivers.
