Fossberg hotell is a traditional hotel in the middle of Lom sentrum. Here, food is served in a cozy dining room and a cafeteria with a large outdoor seating area.

Fossberg Hotel is one of three tradition-rich hotels in the center of Lom, and for well over 100 years it has provided lodging and meals to travelers passing through. The hotel has its own wellness department with a swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna. If you want accommodation with self-catering, there are motel apartments and cabins with shower/WC and TV.

At Fossberg Café, homemade food and baked goods are served.

The history of Fossberg Hotel:
All the way back in 1894 there were two mill operations, two shops, a bakery, and a sexton’s farm with a schoolhouse on the south side of Bøvre (Fossbergom). In 1894, four men joined forces and bought Ulstad, and divided the land into four farms: Ulstad north, Ulstad middle, Ulstad south, and Ulstad lower south. Three of the buyers eventually began tourism operations at Fossbergom. In 1994, these businesses—Fossberg Hotel, Fossheim Hotel, and Nordal Hotel—celebrated their 100-year anniversary!

Operations at Fossberg Hotel started before 1900: Ola P. Lund from Skjåk bought Fossberg in 1926, and up until 1946 farming, a café, and regular rental of housing provided the main income. From 1946 they were able to return the hotel to what it had been built for before 1900, and could accommodate 12 guests at a time. The first remodeling of the main building began in 1953, and step by step Fossberg has been rebuilt and changed into the modern hotel Fossberg is today.
