Fotlandsfossen (the Footland waterfall), located in the cross between Fv. 206 and Fv. 210) is a distinctive and not expected landscape area in the municipality of Time. Here has the Hå river dug itself between the phyllite rock and made the biggest waterfall in Jæren. The rock gives rise to a rich vegetation, which attracts insects and birds. Before was fishing after pearls a right for everyone, but now the pearl mussels are protected. You could see salmons jumping agains the current and up to the top of the waterfall!
Running water has been a resource so long people have known to use hydropower energy, ever since the 13th century. The rests of a destroyed mill can be found above and beneath the waterfall. The two biggest plants have been restored as monuments to the hydropower utilization.
