Fotobrygga is idyllically located directly on the dock when you arrive at one of the most beautiful islands in Lofoten; The small island Skrova, only a half an hour ferry-ride from Svolvær. The island is an old fishing village that had a busy life just a few years back. Today the island has about 170 residents throughout the year. On this small island you have the opportunity to get in touch with the local pulse. Throughout the year you will be able to witness a fantastic light with midnightsun in the summer and the northern light in the cold season.
Fotobrygga is a 150 year old seaside-house, where you can really relax. Just a 20 minutes walk from Fotobrygga you will find, "Mediterranean beaches" with crystal-clear blue-green water waiting for you. These are beautiful in summer and also wintertime. If you want go for fishing, you do not need to go far away to find the opportunity. The island has kayaks, and gocarts for the children. There are great opportunities for foot-hiking. From the top of the highest mountain, which you can reach in half an hour, you get spectacular 360 degree views of the white sandy beaches of the island! Sea and sky meet and here you really get the feeling that the Earth is round ..
Fotobrygga has on the 2nd floor, four single bedrooms with two bathrooms with simpel standard for rent. There is also a small kitchen and a large common livingroom where you can sit and watch the ferries come and go just until the big window! On the 1st floor there is a cafe / pub / restaurant. The little island also has a small Coop food store, with a good selection where you get the most of what you need in everyday life. There are no other shops on the island.
