Frognerseteren - Kafé Seterstua
At the top of Holmenkollen you find Frognerseteren with panoramic views of Oslo and the Oslo Fjord. The oldest part of the building is from 1891, and the restaurant's culinary traditions go back to the same period.
Kafé Seterstua is the perfect place to go after a refreshing hike or a busy day at work. From self-service counters the café offers warm and cold dishes, including traditional dishes like tall sandwiches, Norwegian meatballs in brown sauce, sour-cream porridge and cured meats. You can also try something from Frognerseteren's own baker, including the famous apple cake.
Restaurant Finstua is an à la carte restaurant with historic flare and spectacular views of the Oslo Fjord. The kitchen uses only the best Norwegian ingredients, preparing them with classic techniques to create combinations of traditional and modern cuisine. Table bookings are recommended.
Stuene are Frognerseteren's facilities for private dining, well-suited for informal gatherings with friends and family as well as formal receptions for business acquaintances.
