Welcome to Furuhaugli in Dovrefjell!
In the heart of Dovrefjell mountain, where the musk ox lives, you will find Furuhaugli, a traditional mountain lodge situated 1007 meters above sea level. We offer accommodation, you can join our safaris, enjoy Norwegian food in our restaurant and sample products from Norway’s smallest brewery. You’ll also find plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding the mountain lodge.
We offer six well equipped motel rooms where you’ll find everything you need. The rooms were built in 2018. We have altså 23 cabins of different types and sizes, and a caravan site.
For dinner we serve both traditional, Norwegian dishes and more international dishes. Our menu consists of everything from simpler dishes to delicious three course fish or game menus. We catch the fish in the mountain waters surrounding the mountain lodge. In autumn we go hunting, and we also buy game from local suppliers. You’ll of course get to sample the traditional Norwegian «flat bread» and other trimmings.
1007 meters above sea level you’ll find Norway's smallest brewery. Furuhaugli Nanobryggeri is a craft brewery in every sense of the word – we do everything by hand.
