Galde Uppigard is a traditional farm located 550 meters above sea level in the idyllic Bøverdalen, Lom. It is an actively operating farm with animal husbandry and accommodations in historic houses with modern amenities. The hosts, Reidun and Arne, welcome you to genuine farm life and great experiences near Galdhøpiggen.

The charming farm Galde Uppigard is located in peaceful and idyllic surroundings in Bøverdalen, a short distance from Galdhøpiggen Summer Ski Centre, Sognefjellet and all of Jotunheimen’s majestic mountain areas, and is a perfect starting point for hiking, summit trips, hunting, and fishing.

If you’re looking for accommodation near Galdhøpiggen and want to stay among thick, cozy timber walls, Galde Uppigard is well worth a visit. Here, you can stay in different houses on the farm with self-catering. The place is a perfect base for ski training—both alpine and cross-country. It is only one kilometer to the nearest shop.

In the old farmyard you’ll find peace and quiet, and in Gamlestova, dating from the 1710s, you can relax, light the fireplace, and feel that you’re living in a house with soul.
