Gamle Eidsfos Kro (Old Eidsfos Tavern)

Gamle Eidsfos Kro is located in the former workers' cottages along Bråtagata, in the historic ironworks village of Eidsfoss. The restaurant serves homemade Norwegian traditional dishes, pizza, lighter meals and desserts in buildings that retain much of their original character. During summer, guests can also dine outside in the garden.

The restaurant occupies former workers' cottages associated with the history of Eidsfos Ironworks. Original architectural details give the dining rooms their character, while the garden offers outdoor seating during the warmer months.

Eidsfoss is known for its well-preserved historic buildings beside Lake Eikeren. A meal at Gamle Eidsfos Kro can easily be combined with a walk along Bråtagata and through the old ironworks village.
