Gautefall Biathlon is recognized as one of Norway's finest year-round biathlon facilities, making it the ideal location for cross-country skiing, biathlon, and roller skiing training in Telemark. This state-of-the-art complex offers year-round training enjoyment on an impressive 4.3 km floodlit trail system. The facility is located within walking distance of the popular Ski Lodge Gautefall and Gautefall Ski Resort, making it a perfect training destination.

First-Class Training Amenities Throughout the Year

Our venue is a favourite among biathletes, cross-country skiers, recreational athletes, and professional performers of all ages. We offer exceptional training opportunities regardless of the season:

  • Year-Round Use: The trail system is fully asphalted, making it perfect for roller skiing and running during the summer months.
  • High Capacity: We feature a modern shooting range equipped with 31 electronic shooting targets (a specific detail that enhances relevance).
  • Additional Training Terrain: A dedicated training loop winds around the idyllic pond adjacent to the facility.
    • Summer Activity: The pond offers opportunities for summer swimming.
    • Winter Function: In the winter, the pond serves as a vital reservoir for the facility's snow-making system (snow cannons).
Fully Floodlit Trail and Stadium

To ensure flexible training schedules, the entire 4.3 km floodlit trail is fully illuminated. The biathlon stadium itself is also efficiently lit. This means you can put on your skis or roller skis and enjoy the facility both day and night.
