Norway has long traditions for food and food culture. And at the Geirangerfjord surrounded by majestic mountain peaks, waterfalls and lush vegetation you will find Geiranger Bakery. We offer dining experiences with local identity based on fresh baked goods according to traditional recipes.
It started in 2015, when Jan Egil Vikestrand saw a potential for success and increased value creation through the sale of self-manufactured bakery products. He started building the garage into a production room and opened the first shop with fresh baking in a former barn.
In the summer of 2016, Geiranger Bakery opened a shop and cafe in the old traffic station in Geiranger, offering smudged baking, coffee and other locally produced products.
