Gjersetdalen from Gjerset

Gjersetdalen is a lovely wilderness area with a mead hall, Red Cross cabin, water activities and an activity park.

The walk is nice and easy both for adults and children. Even if it's steep in the start the graveled road gives a good grip.

The area is very child friendly, with loads of activities, a campfire site and toilet facilities. There are nice stops along the road to take small breaks. There aren't many benches, but there are big stones to sit on.

The whole walk follows a graveled road.

Getting there - parking

The trip starts at Gjerset, at Grytastranda. It can be tricky to find a good parking spot here, so one alternative is to start from Synnalandsvatnet in Brattvåg. Here you can park by the dam.
