Just north of Lillehammer, by Nermo Hotell in Hafjell, you will find one of the region's most complete golf experiences: a beautiful 9-hole park and woodland course, driving range, practice areas, and the Nordic region's only 18-hole natural-grass putting course. Here, experienced golfers, families, and groups of friends can enjoy long summer days with clubs in hand, stunning views, and great food right next to the course.

A golf experience at the foot of the mountains

Imagine a lush, well‑kept course winding through forest and cultural landscape, with the “Fakkelmannen” sculpture towering in the background and evening light lingering over the Gudbrandsdalen valley. Hafjell Golf is located 800 metres above the E6 highway, just fifteen minutes north of Lillehammer, and is one of the region’s best‑kept summer secrets.

The course

Hafjell Golf is a 9‑hole park and woodland course with high quality and plenty of character. Large greens, well‑placed bunkers and varied holes ensure that both new and experienced players will find plenty of challenges. The shortest hole measures 76 metres, while the longest stretches to 458 metres. Streams with stone‑lined banks and beautifully built teeing areas reflect a course designed with attention to detail – and separate tees on several holes mean that an 18‑hole round never feels repetitive. A practice area with driving range and putting green lets you warm up before you head out, and right next door you will find an 18‑hole putting course. Thanks to excellent sun exposure throughout the summer season, play usually runs from early May until mid‑October. The long, light evenings in June and July offer golf at its very best; here you can enjoy a round long after other courses have closed for the day.

Food & accommodation

All golfers are warmly welcome, and it is easy to book green fees and tee times via the Golfbox/Gimmie app. The reception at Nermo Hotell also serves as the golf reception, and is the perfect place to round off your day on the course with a barbecue buffet out on the terrace. The hotel also offers dedicated golf packages including accommodation.
