Golf in Nordfjord
There are three golf clubs in Nordfjord:
– Nordfjord Golf Club is situated at Nordfjordeid in Sogn og Fjordane, and Stokkenes Golf Park is a 9-hole course beautifully situated along the salmon-river Eidselva.
– Selje Golf Club’s course includes the infields of several small farms that were no longer economically viable to use for agriculture. The course is a fully fledged 9-hole competition course.
- Sandane is known for its challenging course and the panoramic view of its impressive backdrop: Eidsfossen waterfall, Gloppenelva river and Ryssdalshornet mountain. The golf course is bordered by the Gloppe river, which is an excellent salmon river that attracts keen fishermen throughout the fishing season.
