Grand Café
Centrally located restaurant with a history dating back to 1874.
Newly renovated restaurant on Karl Johans gate, steeped in tradition and one of the city's great meeting places since the opening in 1874.
The new Grand Café is full of restored details and art that showcase its proud history, including Lars Backer's ceiling decorations, the café's classic Thonet chairs and the three famous Krohg paintings on the walls. The interior design is updated and relaxed, with the open kitchen in plain view.
Downstairs there is a wine cellar with over 16,000 bottles and more than 1,500 different wines, making Grand Café one of the richest wine experiences Oslo has to offer.
Grand Café is a member of De Historiske, an organisation that includes some of the most charming hotels and restaurants in Norway.
