Grisbakkhytta (Cabin)

Cabin Details:
Beds and equipment for 6 people, with two bedrooms and 40m2 of space. There are 4 beds with mattresses and pillows with covers. You need to bring your own sleeping bag. An extra mattress is located in one of the beds. The sofa can also be used, providing a total of 6 sleeping spots. This cabin is an attractive choice for small game hunting, for example.

Directions:
The easiest way to reach Grisbakkhytta is by car from Snåsa center through Agle, continuing to Myrset, where there is a toll booth for Lurudalsvegen. Follow Lurudalsvegen, passing Kleivfossene, until you reach the inner part of Lurudalen at Gressåmoen Mountain farm.

Grisbakkhytta is located in the remote part of Lurudalen, surrounded by a pine forest near the idyllic Grisbakktjønna pond. Lurudalen is a long valley without permanent settlements and with few other houses. The fish in Grisbakktjønna may be small, but there are opportunities for larger fish in the Luru river and nearby lakes.
Cabin Rental:
The cabin can be booked on Inatur. Here, you can also purchase fishing and hunting licenses. For manual bookings, there is an invoice fee of 50 NOK.
