Valldal
Experience Valldal by e-bike and on foot on a guided tour through mountain and fjord landscapes. A perfect tour with a taste of local food and history.
Explore Valldal off the beaten path
During the tour, you'll bike past cozy villages and farms while gradually climbing higher with the help of the e-bike. Along the way, you can see the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage site of Tafjord, and the views only get better as you go. Uteguiden will, of course, include several opportunities for photo stops or simply to enjoy the beautiful landscape. Remember to bring your camera on this tour!
Exciting stories
After a cycling stage, the bikes are parked and the journey continues on foot through the cultural landscape. An easy-to-walk path takes you through a peaceful pine forest before you end up at a spectacular viewpoint – here you get a panoramic view over Valldal and the fjord. The guide also has some special stories in store on this tour. In the area, a monastery is planned in memory of Saint Olav and his journey through Valldal in 1029, and you will hear more about this. Included in the tour is also a local snack from Valldal.
