Come and be surprised about what this charming coastal city Haugesund has to offer. Its history stretches from the Viking Age, through the herring fishing in the 1800's till the industrial city of today.

Haugesund is a city with many traditions, festivals and a rich history. On the walking tour we make a stop at the local glass workshop Formbar where you get an insight in how the use the citiy’s history in their art. The tour continues to other museums and galleries.

Norway’s most beautiful city hall is located here in Haugesund and we would very much like to show you. Located in the city center is Our Savior’s church. The city has grown from beeing a small fishing town to become a city with industry and technologi within offshore in world class. The citiy’s history is well reflected in its architecture.
