Guided city walk in Mo i Rana
Join a guided city walk and hear the story of life just below the Arctic Circle, at 66 degrees north.
What started as a small settlement in the early 1900s grew rapidly when the ironworks arrived in the 1950s. Like the iron and steel forged here, the city has been strong, adaptable, and constantly evolving. On this tour, you’ll hear the stories of the people and events that shaped Mo i Rana. Learn about its past as a church site and trading post, its industrial boom, and how hard work, coffee, and culture have shaped the modern city beneath the Arctic Circle.
ExploRana offers guided tours daily, all year round. During the summer season, scheduled tours depart from the pedestrian street.
The tours are easy to walk and take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
