Avoid the crowd, join Explore Lysefjorden on a guided hike off the beaten track to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock). Along the path to the most iconic rock formation in Ryfylke and Norway, epic and unparalleled views and beauty awaits.
Hike to Preikestolen on a hidden, crowd-free path only the locals know about. The guide is ready to take you on the definitive day-hike surrounded by the untamed nature and the amazing fjord landscape of Ryfylke. Enjoy the sheer cliff face, towering 604 metres above the majestic Lysefjord, and the fjord from the absolute best viewpoints.
The drive from Stavanger to the start of the trail (where restrooms are available), takes about 40 minutes. From Jørpeland it takes 10 minutes by car.
Before you paddle across the lake, the guide will provide instructions about safe canoeing.
