Guided moutain hike at Mount Ulriken. Enjoy spectacular scenery and mountain terrain hiking high above the city.
From the summit, you can enjoy magnificent views of Bergen and the surrounding area – the sea, the islands, and the mountains. Ulriken is a popular mountain for hiking for both locals and visitors with varied terrain and beautiful views.
Of course we visit the highest point, take you off the beaten track and show you why the locals love this area. Even we as professionals always get the same feeling up here, the feeling of high mountains. We could just as well have been at Hardangervidda National Park, the view is simply beautiful.
At Mt. Ulriken our guide will take you through untouched terrain, reaching some higher summits with amazing views of Bergen and the ocean surrounding it. Our guide is local and will be able to tell you about Norwegian culture, habits and history. After hiking for about 2,5 hours we will return to Ulriken.
Yo can walk down or take the gondola. If you have time you can enjoy a refreshment at Ulriken or eat a meal before you head back and spend the rest of the day exploring Bergen city.
For those who want to end the hike with a better meal, it is a good idea to book a table at Skyskraperen Restaurant in advance.
