Guided hike on "secret" and unmarked paths in the mountains in Hardanger

Exclusive tour for groups; suitable for couples, groups of friends or companies.

This hike is a secret. We hike on unmarked paths and trails, which travel literally on the doorstep to the charming old farms and homes along the way. We start from Herand either by car or boat and walk back to Herand (9 km). We can also be picked up at Hardanger Art Gallery (5 km). The hike takes us through the most amazing cultural landscapes going back in time to when we rowed or walked where we needed to go.

Meeting place:
We meet in Herand or in Jondal where we are picked up by a minibus that takes us to Lilleås. The drive is about 20 min. We can also arrange pickup in Jondal ferry terminal.

Depending on wishes from the group, we can be picked up at Hardanger Kulturgalleri at Mæle or we can walk all the way back to Herand

Length and time:
5-9 km. From 3 to 5 hrs.

Suitable for:
People aged 8 and over who's in decent physical shape with experience from walking on paths (forrest). The trip is not suitable for pregnant women over 3 months, people with heart problems, back or knee injuries.
