Guided hike on the spectacular Bufærvegen in the mountains in Hardanger

This hike is an epic crossing of the mountain from west to east! (The hike is weather contingent)

We go by car to Botsvatn, where we head up the sherpa steps and continue on the path marked by stone piles. The hike is 17 km long and very hard. So this hike is only suitable for experienced mountain hikers with proper equipment (shoes, clothes and walking poles).

Meeting place:
We meet in Herand where we are picked up by a minibus that takes us to Botsvatn. The drive is about 1 hr. We can also arrange pickup atJondal ferry terminal. On arrival Reisete the bus will pick us up and take us back to Jondal/Herand. This drive is about 1.5 hrs.

Extremely Demanding

Length and time:
17 km and approximately 7-8 hours.

Suitable for:
People aged 12 and over who's in excellent physical shape with experience from walking in the mountain. The trip is not suitable for pregnant women over 3 months, people with heart problems, back or knee injuries.

Changes and cancellations can be made free of charge up to 7 days before departure. In case of cancellation within the deadline, a full refund is given.
