Guided kayak trip in Lysefjorden

Welcome to a guided tasty kayak trip with Fjord Expedition along the Lysefjord's coastline! There will be both paddling, fishing and preparation of your own food.

Fjord Expedition take you on a 5 hour guided kayak trip into the wild Lysefjord, and provide wetsuits and gloves to keep you warm and safe on the trip.
The spring in the Lysefjord is fantastic. There is almost no boat traffic, you might see white mountain peaks on the horizon, and you paddle in crystal clear water in the fresh air.
You start from Forsand, at the entrance to the Lysefjord and will paddle together into the beautiful fjord. You will see how the Lysefjord is slowly changing from sandy beaches and flat boulders to impressively steep, high granite walls that tower several hundred meters above sea level.
Along the way, we will learn about the area's cultural and natural history, and you will enjoy delicious Norwegian seafood made over an open fire. You also get local apple juice and homemade coffee on an open fire. You try your luck at fishing, and look for exclusive sea urchins. We also pull pots that we have put out the day before. The menu depends on what you catch.
This is a trip with a moderate degree of difficulty. You will paddle 10-15 km, and it is suitable for those who are in generally good physical shape. You must also have knowledge of outdoor activities and be at least 10 years old to be able to join this trip. All guests will receive a form with information about what is edible in the fjord.
