Overview

Get  up close with nature in a kayak, and learn more about the remarkable history and culture of the majestic Geirangerfjord. As we set off from our kayak base at Grande, 2 km from the center of Geiranger, you will experience a much calmer pace and  become one with nature and wildlife. Your guide is certified and will explain the essentials of making the kayaking as comfortable as possible, and at the same time guide you through the fjord, bringing  you close to the most famous sights of the Geirangerfjord such as "The Seven Sisters waterfall", "The suitor waterfall" and also give you a glimpse from your kayak of the amazing Fjord farms Skageflå and Knivsflå 250 meter above sea level. The main advantage of doing the tour with a kayak guide, is the educational factor of getting to know all of the history and culture hidden in this breathtaking nature. Our guided kayak trips are bookable up to 48 hours before departure. Our meeting point is at the reception of Grande Hytteutleige og camping at Grande. Age restrictions: Minimum age: 10 years. Daily departures at 10:00 and 15:00. Season: 10 june - 31 august
