Overview

This tour is conducted by Northern Horizon. Put on your snowshoes and walk with your guide into a snowy paradise.

Imagine the cracking snow under your feet, fill your lungs with fresh air, and admire the landscape full of fjords, mountains and the unspoiled beauty of Norwegian backcountry during this snowshoeing tour.

This tour is a mix of fun and challenges during which you can experience the simple enjoyment of being outside in stunning surroundings.

Your professional guide will choose the best locations, share their knowledge about the region and snowshoeing technique, and take professional pictures of you during the tour. All this in a group up to just 8 guests. Our extra small group gives our guide the possibility to adjust the intensity level. However, please remember that this tour requires good physical condition. Please contact us if you are unsure about the required fitness level. During your snowshoe tour, you will also stop for a hot chocolate, cookies, and sandwiches.

Included: transport, homemade lunch, cookies, hot chocolate, snowshoes and poles, pictures, thermal suits and boots (on request), accommodation drop off (on Tromsø Island).
Please bring: warm inner layers and warm boots.

Departure time and place: at 10am (10:00) from Magic Ice, Kaigata 4. drop-off at your accommodation on Tromsø island.
Meeting time: 15 minutes before

Tour runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 1st December.
