Overview
Details

Join us on an exclusive snowshoeing hike to hidden gems along mountain sides covered in snow by the Hardangerfjord. Our experienced guides will give your group an unique experience.

The hike goes into the snowy forest or to easily accessible viewpoints with great views of the mountains and the Hardangerfjord. The guide chooses the route for the hike based on snow and weather conditions.

Among the tour destinations you will find places such as Krokavatn, Økterberg, Skårsete and Fitjadalen. What they all have in common is that they are special and off the beaten track. Snowshoeing is an easy activity that is suitable for everyone and that neither requires good balance nor that you are in very good shape. With snowshoes you float easily on top of the deep snow and have a good grip if it is icy and slushy.

A snowshoeing hike is a perfect activity for families, couples, groups of friends or companies who want to experience the winter landscape along the Hardangerfjord. Our local guides tell us about the area and the cultural landscape along the way.

To ensure the best experience, we only offer private tours that are tailored to your group's wishes, needs and physical fitness. We operate near the fjord villages of Norheimsund and Øystese.

Your guide speaks English.
