A tour to the fjord and Hardangervidda - the largest national park in Norway.
The tour starts at Voss, right in the middle of the triangle Bergen-Hardangerfjord-Sognefjord, the two fjords being the the longest ones in Norway. The tour will let you experience Voss, a famous extreme sports town, where activities in air or on ground are going on the whole year. Half an hour ride ahead awaits Hardangerfjord, and we will visit or pass by three villages on the tour having to cross the mighty Hardangerbrua bridge. Finally, half an hour away from Hardangerfjord, we climb and reach the Hardangervidda mountain plateau, the largest national park in Norway. Here we will have our lunch at a mountain lodge, before we turn back to Hardangerbrua for bridge walking. The tour then ends up in Voss.
Duration: 7-8 hours

Dyranut Mountain Lodge on Hardangervidda mountain plateu - mountain lodge for traditional Norwegian food
Vøringsfossen Waterfall - the most famous waterfall in Norway
Bridge walking on Hardangerbrua bridge
We will start from Voss and travel through inland landscape and towards the Hardangerfjord by Ulvik. Travelling in the Hardangerfjord region is like travelling in a postcard, with bouldering waterfalls and fruit farms along the way. In Ulvik we pay a visit to a fruit farm, where we get know a little about the fruit farming life and maybe get a taste of their products. Next, we will visit a newer and an older church on our way to the mountain plateau of Hardangervidda, where a traditional Norwegian meal will be served - sour cream porridge and smoked meat or an alternative menu. After lunch we return to visit Norway's most famous waterfall, Vøringsfossen, with a 170 m free fall. Next highlight is walking the Hardangerbrua bridge - voluntary of course - with an incredible view on both sides of the innermost part of the Hardangerfjord. This takes an hour, and then we hop on the bus again to end our tour in Voss.
