A trip with Longyearbyen Guiding is more than just a minibus trip from hotspot to hotspot. Our guide Magnus, who grew up here, tells about the old mining town, what life was like here then and until today, and about historical events and personal experiences from his 30 years of working up here. This means that you, as a guest, will get an authentic introduction to the culture and history of Svalbard. Self-experienced dramatic stories, in-depth knowledge of the mines of Store Norske and a truthful and exciting story about the miners and their lives. You will be taken to places and attractions that most others will never know about.

There will be several stops for photography along the way on all our tours. 

After the tour is over and your memory card is full of spectacular photos, Magnus happily turns the minibus in the direction of a local restaurant to continue guiding you through his stories from and about Longyearbyen over a meal. 
The morning trips (departures starting 09:00) end at Kroa for lunch, and the afternnon trips (departures starting at 15:00) end at Vinterhagen Restaurant at Mary-Ann's Polarrigg for dinner.
