A cottage with lovely views and fantastic location - 5 min by car from Røros city center, which is on the UNESCO list of world heritage. Great hiking opportunities in summer and a ski paradise in winter where you can go cross-country skiing straight out from the cabin and head to Hummelfjell Alpinsenter, Ålen Alpinsenter or Tanndalen in Sweden for alpine skiing.
The cottage has three bedrooms, one with a double bed (150cm), one with a family bunk bed (120cm/ 90 cm) and one with a bunk bed (75cm). There is space for 7 people in total. There is also a cot bed and baby chair as well as children’s toys in the chest drawer in the living room. Cot bed linen must be brought. There is a large parking space right outside but currently there is no access point for electrical cars. Smoking, bringing livestock or having large parties is not allowed.
The cottage is otherwise equipped with a TV, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, hairdryer, an iron, a fireplace and wood. In the kitchen you will find coffee machines (a coffee plunger and a capsule machine using Lungo-style capsules) and a kettle as well as basic spices such as salt and pepper as well as sufficient kitchen utilities, pots and pans for 7 people. Basic cleaning products are also available. There is a charcoal-based grill in the shed that can be used if cleaned well after use. There is no internet access.

In regards to Røros, a beautiful town well worth exploring, there are various attractions related to previous mining activities, including Smelthytta Museum, Olavsgruva, Storwartzfeltet and small houses in Sleggveien. In the city center you can find a lot of artisan shops and delicious local cuisine as well as the famous local church, a masterpiece in its own right and well worth a visit. There are also various events held throughout the year, of which Elden (end of July) and Rørosmartnan (February) are particularly noteworthy.
