Historic venue by Akershus Fortress. A historically significant venue built in 1845, designed by architect Christian Herman Malling. With a maximum capacity of 440 guests, Høymagasinet is suitable for a variety of events, equipped with modern facilities and licensed. Høymagasinet's central location at Kontraskjæret makes it a flexible venue with possibilities for both indoor and outdoor events – or both. Høymagasinet is part of Akershus Fortress, the headquarters of the Norwegian Armed Forces, as well as being a national monument and a vibrant urban area.
