Høyevarde Fyrhotell lighthouse hotel

When you rent Høyevarde, you get the whole place to yourself – either for a day, or with an overnight stay in the lighthouse. Høyevarde Fyrhotell is one of Norway's oldest lighthouses and customs stations. There are pretty gardens around the buildings that, weather permitting, are an excellent place to hold part of an event.

The hotel’s experienced hosts serve delicious food in a wonderful venue surrounded by beautiful scenery. A special tailored menu is available from Lothes Mat og Vinhus – one of Haugesund's finest restaurants – with a focus on local ingredients. You can enjoy the freshest local seafood, fresh flowers, white tablecloths and napkins, candlelight and first-rate service – everything you need for an amazing get-together.

The lighthouse is open for individual guests in July but only takes group bookings the rest of the year.

Høyevarde is situated on Karmøy and is close to some of Norway's very best beaches. In association with our partners, we offer boat trips, fishing, island hopping, mini-golf, visits to a Viking farm and much more.
