With its 10 shops, 6 restaurants, gallery, a glass museum and a variety of activities and events throughout the year, Hadeland Glassverk is an exciting place to visit all year round- for the whole family. The visitor centre is open every day throughout the year, Sunday included, and has a varied activity program. Hadeland Glassverk is in a stunning location only an hour’s drive from Oslo, and is an all-year tourist attraction and shopping destination built on history, art, culture and traditional craftsmanship.

The glassworks business was established in 1762, and is Norway’s oldest manufacturing company in continuous operation.
Its Glassmuseum is the largest of its kind in the Nordics, and has on display a selection of articles created by Hadeland’s glass-blowers and designers over the past 260 years.

The gallery has various exciting exhibitions throughout the year.

In the glas hut, both children and adults have the opportunity to try their hand at glass-blowing. Items you can make and take home include a vase, honey pot, Easter egg, Christmas bauble, and drinking glass. The range available depends on the season. During summer, the honey pot can be filled with honey at Honninghuset.

In Lysstøperiet, children have the opportunity to colour their own candles.
Children will also love the outdoor play areas, and during the summer holidays there is a children’s  farmyard experience with animals and horseback riding.

Not far from Hadeland Glasswork, in the lake Randsfjorden, you will find Randsfjord waterpark a floating playground!
