Half-day trip: Akkerhaugen – Lunde – Akkerhaugen

Join a canal cruise through the heart of the Telemark Canal!
M/S Telemarken sails between Akkerhaugen Pier and Lunde Lock.
Along the way, you’ll pass through three impressive locks, including Vrangfoss – the largest lock system on the canal.

Your journey begins aboard M/S Telemarken, sailing from Akkerhaugen Pier to Lunde Lock.
Upon arrival in Lunde, you’ll return by bus from the Lunde Lock bus stop to the Norsjø Hotel bus stop.

Itinerary:

• 09:30 AM – Meet at Akkerhaugen Pier
• 09:45 AM – Departure with M/S Telemarken from Akkerhaugen Pier
• 1:15 PM – Arrival at Lunde Lock
• 1:30 PM – Departure by bus from Lunde Lock (Vy line 323)
• 2:14 PM – Arrival at the Norsjø Hotel bus stop

Practical Information about the Canal Cruise Parking

Free parking is available at Akkerhaugen Pier.
The walk from the Norsjø Hotel bus stop back to Akkerhaugen Pier is approximately 600 meters.
Parking is also available at Norsjø Hotel.

Onboard Dining

There is a café onboard the boat.
You can buy food directly from the menu without pre-ordering.
It is not possible to reserve tables for the entire journey, and bringing your own food or drinks onboard is not allowed.

Bus

The return bus is part of the public transport system in Telemark.
In Lunde, the bus stop is about 200 meters from the lock.
The route is served by Vy line 323.

Booking and Payment

Prices:

Adults (16+ years): NOK 640 per person

Children (4–15 years): NOK 318 per child

Children (0–3 years): Free of charge

An additional fee of NOK 80 per person applies to phone/email bookings.
