Half day trip afternoon: Skien-Lunde-Skien

For those who truly appreciate summer nights and prefer to sleep in a little, this canal tour is perfect for you.
Start your afternoon aboard our comfortable canal bus from Hjellebrygga to Lunde. As you sail from Lunde back to Skien, you’ll pass through five lock systems, including the majestic Vrangfoss.

Itinerary:

• 11:30 AM – Meet at Hjellebrygga in Skien
• 11:50 AM – Departure by canal bus from Hjellebrygga
• 12:50 PM – Arrival at Lunde Lock
• 1:20 PM – Departure with M/S Victoria or M/S Henrik Ibsen from Lunde Lock
• 5:30 PM – Arrival at Hjellebrygga in Skien

This tour can also be done in reverse, starting in Skien at 8:10 AM by boat.

Practical Information about the Canal Cruise Parking:

Free parking is available at Hjellebrygga.
Important: A parking permit is required to avoid fines.
You can get your permit from the bus driver.

Onboard Dining:

There is a restaurant onboard the boat.
You can pre-order lunch when booking your tickets.
It’s also possible to purchase food from the menu without pre-ordering.
We recommend pre-ordering if your group consists of 10 or more people.
It is not possible to reserve a specific table for the entire journey.
Bringing your own food and drinks onboard is not allowed.

Bus:

The bus used for this route is a private tour bus exclusively for our guests.
It is parked right next to Hjellebrygga in Skien and stops about 200 meters from Lunde Lock.
There is no payment terminal on the bus—tickets must be booked in advance.
Dogs are not allowed on the bus, except for guide dogs.
