The hike starts with a steep hill already by the road at Botsheia though a pine forest. You will within a short time get to a place where you can either go straight to Ulvaskog and Preikestolen Fjellstue or take to the right to go to Hatten. Follow the sign to Hatten! This is a airy hike, but it still gives the safe feeling, besides for the people struggling with a fear of heights. You can either go the same way down or follow the hike down an other way (easier)
