Heivannet bathing place

Popular bathing area with good bathing temperature
Heivannet is one of Greenland's most popular freshwater bathing spots. Here is a nice sandy beach and lovely grassy plains. The water for early good bathing temperature and the temperature can be checked at the rest area.

Child-friendly swimming area with hiking opportunities
The area is classified as child-friendly and here there is the opportunity for several trips to the forest, including the marked hiking trail to Blåfjell and Ristingkollen.

Bus connection and parking
There are good public transport links to the area, with a bus pocket by the picnic area. At the picnic area there are a few parking spaces and an amphitheater facing the water. Øvring parking is at a large municipal car park below the area, where you drive towards Siljan aplinsenter and there is a signposted parking on the left side of the road.

Solvika Camping and cafe
The swimming area is located right next to Solvika Camping and Cafe. Here is its own parking which is reserved for Solvika Kafe og -Camping.
