Helgøy is a large island located in Karlsøy Municipality in Troms county. The island has an abundance of wildlife and there are nice hiking conditions and good fishing possibilities.
The island has been inhabited since about 4000 years BC, but is now abandoned and is currently used as a holiday place for the inhabitants of the surrounding islands. Helgøy church was built in 1741 and is today completely restored and have great attractions that should be experienced. Queen Sonja has visited the island twice.
The accommodation to rent on Helgøy is in a 200 sqm big house with very high standard. There are 4 bedrooms with a total of 10 beds, a separate meeting room with wifi, a projector and a winter garden with stunning views and a great jacuzzi outdoor.

A perfect place for board meetings, courses and conferences, meetings or a trip with family/friends walking in beautiful nature including opportunities for history, architecture, fishing and boating.
The boat trip takes about 1 ½ hours each way in a fantastic landscape. Accommodation NOK 990,- per night per person are not included.
