30 minutes flight with Nor Aviation: After a short transfer you board your helicopter and you will soon be high above the city and harbour, with its islands, islets and bridges. That's only the beginning of your journey, though: friendly, experienced, and safety-certified pilots provide an unmatched experience of everything you look at and make sure you have a pleasant flight.
Onwards, you can admire the beautiful Lysefjord and the protruding rock formation 'Preikestolen' or Pulpit Rock, also known by the English translations of Preacher's Pulpit or Pulpit Rock, and by the old local name Hyvlatonnå ("the carpenter-plane's blade"), is a massive cliff 604 metres (1982 feet) above Lysefjorden. The top of the cliff is approximately 25 by 25 metres (82 by 82 feet), almost flat, and is a famous tourist attraction in Norway. You will fly at close range, to enable you to appreciate this very special and spectacular wonder of nature. Pass over wonderful lush areas, where different shades of green jostle side by side. Admiring the harbour and fjord landscape with islands scattered around it is easy to understand why the Viking kings chose this area as their kingdom.
