Hell
Hell Station is a railway station in the village of Hell in Stjørdal municipality in Trøndelag county. The station is located 31.5 kilometres from Trondheim Central Station.
The station was established in 1881 as a station for handling trains, travellers and goods. Today, the station has become a tourist attraction due to its special name, especially for English speakers where everyone is photographed under the sign ‘Hell Station - Gods Expedition’. Although the station is now unmanned, most trains stop here (on signal).
The Hell area is a busy traffic junction. Trondheim Airport Værnes, the main airport in Trøndelag is situated less than 1 km from Hell.
