Hendanes Lighthouse

Hendanes lighthouse is balancing in the terrain, 50 meters above sea level. The lighthouse was built in 1914 and automated in 1963. The lighthouse is one of four lighthouses on Vågsøy and the least to be built on the Island. To get to the lighthouse, you have to walk about 1 kilometer on a narrow road along the mountainside. The sea offers magical sunsets and fascinating waves - well worth a visit!
