Hendrix Ibsen

Unique place at Vulkan with good coffee, microbrews and vinyl in perfect harmony. At Hendrix Ibsen you can choose from a wide selection of coffees and more than 50 beers, 10-12 of which are on tap.

Nitro coffee
Hendrix Ibsen was the first coffee shop in Norway with nitro coffee on tap. The cold, rich drink is called nitro coffee because a nitrogen gas mix is required to get the right flavour and carbonisation. Nitro coffee can be mixed with IPA, all kinds of dark beer, ginger ale, milk or chocolate milk. The bar also has nitro beer on tap.

Events and rentals
Hendrix Ibsen regularly hosts "opera and brew" nights, concerts, book launches and art exhibitions. The premises can be rented on Saturday nights for private celebrations.

Hendrix Ibsen also has another coffee shop, Hendrix Ibsen Junior, in Markveien 21 just up the street.
